The Frederick Hotel

So far we’ve found our hotel in Tribeca

  • Super clean
  • Rooms smaller than our last cruise cabin
  • Bathrooms with map of the city on the tile
  • Lobby that’s quirky but functional
  • Convenient… subway right out front

Upon completing our visit, I can add that I would definitely return.... the staff was very helpful and friendly..... a coffee bar was set up in the lobby before 7:30 every morning (I would prefer earlier, but there did not seem to be a lot of others who felt the same way)  A bag breakfast was also included in the rate... it included, fruit, a croissant, a small yogurt and sometimes a bar for later in the day... Our stay on the 4th floor left us thinking that the insulation must be good because the city noise was minimal.... we also enjoyed looking out our window as students arrived and left daily .... Stuyvesant High School was right down the street.... On the days that John was tired of the grab and go breakfast, there was an excellent bagel shop half a block away.   The hotel is adjacent to an Italian restaurant and we enjoyed one dinner there.   It also "leases" out some space to a bar for a few nights a week..... but when you are playing tourist as hard as we were, we were not looking for nightlife..... toward the end of the post is a picture of the hotel’s original look and name
