This is a fairly new park financed by wealthy mogul Barry Diller and Diane VonFurstenberg…. It was built on an old pier and has two access points. When it first opened reservations (free) were needed but that’s no longer required. The tulip piers were conceived by Thomas Heatherwick… the same architect who dreamt up the Vessel…. The view from the highest point is great and the natural landscaping is beautiful.
